Words are not efficient, your montage is a good way to express and show your undoubtely strong souvenirs you shared with this great artist. I am Sad as a stone, your montage cheer me up a bit.
Sorry for my English, not from your country, Jay Reatard was (and still is) the strongest artist of our times, his music will be a great treasure for years to come, i'm sure.
Hope to see more of your work soon, you ve got a great style...
Good luck.
I begin to like and follow your work when i discover your tee shirt at a Jay Reatard concert in Paris.
i love it a lot.
Keep on the good stuff dear
Lindsay.

Words cant explain how much his music means to me, and I never even said more than a few things to the guy at past shows. I grew up blaring the reatards in my headphones on the way to high school every morning with the biggest feeling of comfort. Ive always thought his mind and mine some how connected as im sure it did with other teenage youth as well. He shouted out everything I was feeling, when it was songs he wrote about relationships with girls, to talking about the angry feeling of being young and stuck on what to do with the rest of your life. I will grow old always remembering him, and how his music helped me threw the toughest of mental times. When i heard of his passing it honestly made me feel like I lost a close friend, cause I may have not known him personally but I knew his music personally. I felt alone again, feeling like I was the only one thinking these issues that he wrote about. Since i first picked up the guitar and started playing drums I based my whole style off of his. Some kids try and base what they do off of hendrix or other great musicians, but to me he was a legend. So now every time I write a song, I keep his style in mind as a tribute. In a way it seems what happened was meant to be, because I know we haven't heard the last of him just yet. I will bet anything that his talent will create such a huge inspiration to people who still love and respect true rock n roll and he will be talked about for years to come. Your very lucky you had someone like this in your life, and you should know he will always be with you after on the other side as well.
